WSJ: Even Disney Is Worried About The High Cost Of A Disney Vacation (gift link)

Meh, Im’ an AP holder and I don’t care about this at all. I’d rather they keep it for Christmas-NY than eliminate it entirely.

Was there earlier and there was a lot of equipment set up for filming of the parade. I wonder if they broke something?

MK Big Thunder Mountain to receive full retrack

Off topic, but it seems wrong to: 1. Have a rule that we can’t mention a certain news source; and 2. Post information from that source, without actually identifying the source other than to say “that site we don’t say.” @TheCoasterNerd I’m directing this at you as I know you’re just...

News New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

Refundable if it’s a package, or if a person is that worried about it, buy from an authorized third-party retailer like Undercover Tourist that allows refunds. This is not an actual problem.

News New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

No, however all reports have been that Disney is refunding in the DAS refusal situations, and in any event Disney is historically very generous with refunds of “non-refundable” tickets.

News New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

Just wow at this post. You really should give DAS a try. One of the things the DAS changes improved was significantly reducing the wait time in the lightning lanes, because there are no longer thousands of guests with “irritable bowel syndrome” jumping in to them. The result of that is that...

News New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

I recognze this is from a few days ago but I just wanted to make sure that you know you are misunderstanding what you get with DAS. You don’t need to “walk over to the ride.” You grab DAS passes in the app.

News Cost Cutting Measures Coming Early 2025

This is a ridiculously ignorant statement that betrays a fundamental misunderstanding about how a business works. Guest satisfaction drives repeat customers, and word of mouth / reviews draws in new customers. If you run your business with no regard for guest satisfaction only caring about...

News Disney Park Pass System announced for Walt Disney World theme park reservations

Based solely on current inflationary trends, this number is unrealistically low.

News Cost Cutting Measures Coming Early 2025

Virtual Queue is free, and Tiana’s is a LLMP attraction. The idea that having it on a VQ somehow drives more LLMP sales is attenuated at best. But sure, in principle it would be nice if they had enough capacity so that every ride was a Virtual Queue (that doesnt sell out). That will never...
