I am a ship chandler and writer who just published my first novel about my experiences in Hurricane Katrina called "After the Rain." I have a wonderful husband named Ben who I met right after being transferred to Alabama after Katrina and three wonderful sons. When I got Ben I also got two beautiful daughters along with him. I have a wonderful life and we are so blessed each and every day. Disney World has a very special place in our family and we go at least once a year usually more than that. My husbnd and I also run a non-profit for hurricane relief in oru spare time called Eyeofthestormrelief.org.
After losing 130 pounds, i am working on my second novel about my journey from 325lbs to the WDW Half Marathon!
