From a different perspective, I can now take my son, who is a baby and wouldn’t be able to do 3D, on Rat and he absolutely loves it.

Butterflies are incredibly difficult to maintain. I know they do it for Flower and Garden but I doubt they would want to deal with a massive and permanent butterfly exhibit.

I don’t think people here are appreciating just how good of a ride system the Shanghai Pirates boat ride has. For one, it has a massive capacity. That means that the magic Kingdom, if this ride system is used, will have a brand new mega E ticket with an operational capacity of over 3000 guests...

I disagree. If anything, Disney would want to make the trains more popular. There’s an economies of scale to running 3 or even all 4 locomotives at the same time if they build the Villains station. It might cost them more money, but if guests demand it then they are making money too.

It has been a bit muddled since 2006’s addition of Jack Sparrow, but MK’s facade and queue line make the story more complete. Not that DL’s version has no story, but it is a bit more well rounded out in Florida. Some others on the forum may be able to elaborate better than I can. Essentially...

This. They have already redefined Frontierland from Walt Disney’s version. It is now a general “frontier,” not the American Frontier of the 19th century focused on the American pioneering spirit. A sad change but par for the course.

Exactly. They would never build a truly scary land at MK that would frighten little ones. Families are and will always be Disney’s primary demographic. Not sure why anybody expected any different.
