I wonder if this is just temporary or now that the RoA is gone they just don’t need it and are removing it. It would be a shame if the removal is permanent.

I don’t think this is true. An investment is a capital expenditure, and the cost would be depreciated over the economic lifespan of the investment. Sometimes, it is possible to accelerate the depreciation which they might do for tax purposes. But it still likely would not all come out of that...

The ride vehicle does not have to be diegetic for every attraction. I think LotR would lend itself very nicely to a storybook like attraction.

Who cares? If someone is offended by the Tiki Room then I have a very simple solution: don’t watch the show!
