Yeah so I’m in a tech theater program and we’re learning both the design and technical side of this. Hudson is one of the biggest broadway scene shops so it was really interesting to hear about this. We got to hear about the technical specifics of building the queue and ride waiting rooms, and...
Just confirmed that this was In fact galaxys edge. My school brought in another person from Hudson scenic and they could now reveal that the project was the millennium falcon. We got a whole walkthrough if how it was built and everything. Very cool. Hudson made the interior and exterior of the...
Completely agree. I think that rides like UoE and Malestrom could’ve been updated or something. Even the GMR could’ve had new scenes added to it from newer movies or something.
For me, i’d probably want the next park to open somewhere in the northeast, as I live there, and it is one of the most heavily populated areas in the country. I realize that the weather could present some issues, but it would be cool if they could pull it off, like they have in Paris.
I feel like the wdw parks have been heading downhill recently due to a slew of character based attractions. What happened to great original rides? Disney was never meant to be about the movies. When it first opened, Disneyland was just supposed to be a place where guests would be immersed in...

Gives some more info on the company here. Found this when I searched for Hudson Scenic and Disney World together.
If you click the link that says companies at the top of Hudson's website, it says that they also design for major theme parks. Haven't found any connection to the Disney Parks anywhere on the site, but they have worked with Disney broadway productions in the past. I also searched for info on...
Again, I want to reiterate that it was not my classmates who I heard this from. The teacher who was on the trip told us that they are working on a new Disney project and everything else that I originally said. I would’ve gotten more info if I could’ve. In fact I wish I got more info. Lol
Just got some info about a new attraction. Not too exciting, but I go to laguardia high school in ny for tech theater and there was a field trip up to Hudson Scenic in Yonkers, which is one of the biggest scenic companies in the US. They’re building something for Disney that they’re shipping...
Visited the 3 Asian resorts this summer, and they all blew the two US ones out of the water. Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Shanghai all feel more modern, and the attractions at these parks are far better than the ones at the US parks. They make make not want to visit Disney World anymore, because it is...
I would actually love to see a Coco overlay for the ride, but I agree that there are more important upgrades the need to be made elsewhere in the park. So much of the park feels old and outdated, and it seems like the funds would be better spent upgrading sections of future world.
