Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge introduces new nighttime safari tour

Don't a lot of the animals get returned to cages at night? I remember seeing on the AK special that they have been trained to respond to certain whistles. Would they just leave them out late on these nights?

    CoP replacement

Pass. No more M.J.. And no more aliens/outer space in Tomorrowland. Not sure how those concepts became synonymous with "tomorrow". Stitch, Monsters Inc, Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear, Astro Orbiter.... lets branch out a little bit.

Is Epcot about to get some love?

I agree with pretty much everything said here, and yet Epcot is probably my favorite park. Despite the lack of attractions, the atmosphere walking around the park is perfect. Background music, layout, landscaping, lighting. architecture of (most) of the buildings. The other parks have a lot of...

    Mickey Pumpkin Heads

Hi All - My wife loves the Mickey pumpkin heads that are hung on the Main Street lamp posts this time of year. Does anyone know if they can be purchased anymore, or if there is a website with instructions on how to make these? Thanks!

    FoTLK To Close in January?

You'd certainly think they'd wait until the last possible minute to close FoTLK, but waiting til the new one is ready? I don't think so. Why wouldn't a company that's always looking to save a buck reuse pieces of the current building? You obviously need a new foundation and core structure, but...

Santa look-a-like causes distraction at WDW

He obviously is looking for the attention. Otherwise, here's a brilliant idea that would work ... shave and get a hair cut. he looks like a slob anyway.

    Fantasmic!

I saw something similar when I was there in the first week of March! It didn't hit the railing, it hit the concrete structure on the stage side of the lake, bounced off and then ran into an oncoming canoe. It looked like the troubled boat had only 2 paddlers whereas others have 4. Someone...

What if other attractions had an orange side?

    Maybe a WWII re-enactment?

    Best seats for 3d attractions.

We always tried to be in the center of the theatre (middle left-to-right and front-to-back), but on our last trip we were forced into the 2nd or 3rd row for Philharmagic because we walked in as the auditorium was almost full, and I definitely enjoyed that more. With the panoramic screens that...

No bottled Cole products at MK

I read somewhere online the other day that both Coke and Pepsi have to change their recipe slightly in order to avoid having to put a cancer warning on the bottles in accordance with a new law concerning the amounts of one of the ingredients. Maybe supply is low as this changeover happens.

Where to stay at Caribbean Beach?

Go with Jamaica or Aruba. It's a really nice walk in the morning across the island in the middle of the lake. These two areas are closest to the bridge, and once you're on the other side, you're right at the food court area. It's far enough to let you take in the atmosphere, but not so far...

    WDW Radio App

You do not need a Live365 VIP membership to use the iphone app ( you did until a few months ago ). There's also an app called FStream that you can use to tie into any online streams. if you get the URLs from the dtunes feeds, you can listen to those on your iphone.

    Biggest Celebrity Disney fans

Not sure about him being a fan of the parks, but Keith Primeau, former NHLer, is a huge Mickey Mouse fan. Our local Flyers broadcast has an intermission segment every game, and one night during Primeau's years here, they talked to him about it and showed his huge collection of memorabilia.
