Yeah that was meant to be a joke. I’ll cry if the last Buckeye gets removed. Roger's current whistle also poses a problem because now it will sound almost like Roy when he returns.

Why not give that whistle to Lilly Belle? Because they both have the word Belle in their name lol.

Does anyone know which whistle was used on the Liberty Belle riverboat? The way Roger's whistle sounds currently almost makes it sound like the riverboat.

Long overdue reply but Lilly Belle also received the new buzzer a few months before the railroad went into shuttle mode.

Btw now they're saying that Roy's whistle is actually a modified (replica) Baldwin whistle, which has rectangular chambers instead of the rounder ones. The whistle on Walter currently is supposed to be the same whistle without the modifications.

As far as I know, the closing of the railroad back in 2018 didn't really impact the overhauls of Walter and Roger, so Roy should not be too impacted itself hopefully.

I was wondering about that, since the locomotive wiki thought it was a Baldwin. I was suspecting that it wasn’t a Baldwin because it didn’t sound the same as Walter's Baldwin; it sounds closer to Roy's American. (EDIT: the wiki did say Crosby). I do wonder whether or not this change is...

I wonder why Roger has a new buzzer already…it had the original buzzer in the first video you posted.

So I found a recent video of a ride behind the Roger E. Broggie. I must come to say this: the Lonergan whistle is gone!

Here’s the new; the old didn’t have those end designs originally.

New tender logo, slightly different text for both the name and tender, and darker shade of green.

They’re definitely doing good stuff with the locomotive. Part of me is still wondering whether or not it will get a redesigned paint job like Roger did…

Is there any major differences between the old and new boilers? Also I heard that Strasburg was the one who built the new ones, so I want to make sure that’s correct.
