I adore Rivers of Light, I based my d&d character off the water shaman Aseema. I'd LOVE for them to bring this back. But I saw pictures floating around of the animal totems ripped apart. Apparently the batteries in the lotuses and totems did not do well with the shutdown/lack of use.
I agree...
We had a good time last night. There were a lot more children (little LITTLE ones) than I expected. I can't imagine they or their parents had a great time.
Food was great, lines weren't bad. There was a bit of crowding early on but nothing crazy after 10.
The thing is we have answered this question before. In this very thread. I caught pieces of this portion on one or two of my cruises but I was always involved in something else and couldn't stop. So I was a step behind on my first cruise when everyone ELSE at dinner knew what dance to do to...
We were super nervous because of the assumption it would be geared to and focused on kids. We were whatever exists beyond pleasantly surprised (stunned? Thrilled? Idk) our first cruise to find oh this is for us too. We figured like everything else at Disney we, the childfree millennials, would...
Almost everyone. Even right up until the end people had their first voyage Sept 14 and spent all day everyday until the bitter end calling to try to get back on again. We made it on four times, and most of the people we've met through Starcruiser were on voyage 2+ as well. The one and done...
It didn't take me out because I never left Batuu, but it contributed to a lot of later passengers treating it as a hotel. You go to Batuu to get a decoy stone or coaxium or a Holocron or tools. You don't go to get all the rides done.
Their idea could work, but for myself I made choices based...
This was something that drove me bonkers as a passenger. March 2022 everyone saw Batuu as a cruise excursion and treated it accordingly. By march 2023 people were treating it as their DHS day. They'd go to bed early and make it back onboard super late just to ride slinky dog. By my final cruise...
200 seems about right. The atrium has a capacity of 400ish. I want to say 414 but I can't remember why that number comes to mind. Each cabin can't be full. There were people in the last few cruises who tried to add another name to their reservation, like a third or fourth to their cabin and...
Considering how many of us were on our 4th+ voyage on my last one, I'm gonna go with not many. The Starcruiser failed because it couldn't get people onboard for their first voyage. But once people got there and saw what it really was, they loved it.
Nothing to do with bragging. It's a farewell. The community of repeat voyagers -which is to say, people who loved this experience enough to do it multiple times- are devastated. Im sure some people tried for the final one, but the scramble to book before close was to get -any- date at all. I...
I was in a group that had Disney's approval to charter a sailing in January of 2024 for cosplaying adults only. It is definitely in part to the unsupervised roaming packs of children we experienced on our previous cruises. We had one shrieking "go first order" the entirety of the finale. Cast...
Oh I know, I'm from Buffalo. And I'm insane enough to ALWAYS believe that THIS time is going to be the time somewhere outside of Buffalo gets it right 😂 I don't mind Buffalonian food, or the attempt anyway, being on the menu at Saratoga. Lots of people think Buffalo is part of Canada, and/or...
Got my hopes up over the beef on weck. Its actually brisket on brioche. Standard brisket on a brioche hamburger bun. Hopefully the other new items are better.
I went November 1 the year of the party pass and had an absolutely amazing time. Totally wild energy compared to the other parties. Skippers wished me a happy backside of Halloween
