Realizing there are exceptions to every rule, different strokes, etc...
7-8 days is the sweet spot for a visit. Anything under feels too short. Anything over feels too much.

WDW Transportation enhances the experience (yes, even buses)...
Seems like they could have still had their IP cake, while making a few concessions, that would have (IMO) been a better use:
Repurpose the train/railway as a unique means of transportation between AKL and DAK
Extend Kali to be a longer attraction that is less about getting wet and more serves...
Forgive me, but I've kind of been off the grid lately...are they bringing back the 60-day window (like with FP+) for G+/LL or did I make that up?
While I still don't like it, I'd be much more willing to pay for G+/LL if it provided me with a rough itinerary for each day of my trip well in advance.
To hell with an Uber, they're a pain in the to get on a bus. Every dad here knows that the stroller will inevitably get caught and not fold at the very exact moment the bus arrives. It's Murphy's Law.
I don’t think it’s far fetched that ~90% visitors have to stretch a WDW vacation over several billing cycles and/or are unable to contribute to savings/investments upon completion of a WDW trip.
While I agree with you as a free-market advocate, I'm also super cynical to "believe" natural market forces, since society as a whole is incredibly fiscally irresponsible.
