My Dining Reviews - 5 Disney, 1 Universal, 1 Disney Springs sit down

I wanted to thank everyone for tips and headsup on ADRs, places to eat etc. I was hoping this review would help others who are looking into options. I also hoped to include a photo from each meal but I had a snafu with my phone and lost a bunch of photos, so no food shots, sorry. Right to it...

    Genie Plus-Really work the app!

I have 1 ADR every park and I'm enjoying the heck out of genie plus. I bought my first ILL as well today. I don't know seems easy enough. You don't book something in your dining window. (I figure my sit down will be approx 90 min). In some cases i delayed my G+ booking til the time was amenable...

News Tropical Storm Nicole impacts to Walt Disney World - November 2022

Is that a lesser version? I was looking forward to the big floats and dragon. That said we got to see Fantasmic so I felt totally fulfilled even missing it.

News Tropical Storm Nicole impacts to Walt Disney World - November 2022

Got to MK gates just after 930 this morning and had a pretty good day despite some bouts of rain. The ponchos do work. Most things seem to run as usual. We did miss the big noon parade (the weather was actually calm at that point but they announced a "delay for safety"). We just went on with our...

    strollers, strollers, strollers

My wife insisted we brought stroller (my youngest is 6) and so we used an umbrella stroller from condo rental and its been great. Kids been taking turns, plenty of spots to put them to go on nearby rides and hung 2 small cooler packs off the arms. It's worked out great.

Disney Genie, Genie+, and Lightning Lane Frequently Asked Questions for Walt Disney World

I'm assuming this one books first and fast. I used G+ for SDD at 7am (4:10pm). 160 min standby line. Best decision I've made this trip.

News Tropical Storm Nicole impacts to Walt Disney World - November 2022

November is historically the driest month here and it's rained (mostly a little) every day so far with washout potentially tomorrow afternoon and all Thursday. I'm annoyed but as long as we get in MK tomorrow I'm ok with it. We've had mostly sun since Saturday with 5 min sprinkles and 1 shower.

We moved our universal from thurs to sunday thanks to a quirk in our schedule and 1 extra off day at the end. It'd gonna be gorgeous sunday.

Genie + and the non-rope dropper/relaxed vacationer, is it worth it?

Having been to 2 parks so far and semi relaxed (arriving 30 min after opening and not running around to try to "do it all", I urge anyone who is on the fence to buy genie plus for every park. I've only been to AK and HS so far, 2 places with weak lineups (and some say not worth genie plus) and...

    Fantasmic Reopening Watch

I enjoyed the 8pm show with my family. Leaving nothing to chance we headed in before 630 and we're among the first group in. We had great seats front left about 5th row no obstructions. The final edge sections didn't fill in until about 745. Didn't know the theater had its own restroom up top...
