The short answer is buy resale, don't finance, and don't divide the cost of something that has at least 26 years of value by 10 years.

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked through the West Side on my last trip. Lots of live music outside. I had skipped this for several years. We actually went back a second night to enjoy the music and food.

It really depends on when and where you want to go. If you like to vacation during the holidays and want to stay at VWL, buy where you want to stay. If you want to stay at BWV or BCV during food and wine, buy where you want to stay. That is not saying you couldn't get these hotels at these...

OKW is no moderate. It has the largest rooms of any DVC.

Call instead of booking online and I am guessing they will allow you to book 5 people in any 1br.
