After spending 2 hours in the queue (we got on line right at reopening from a weather delay only to get hit by another weather delay) we finally got to ride. Our quick opinion is that the scenes were well done, the LIDAR looked cool but the story didn't really make much sense. The story of 2.0...
I think a lot higher percentage of people that have ridden RnRC listen to lyrics than people who had ridden Splash knew that the characters were from Song of the South.
In terms of a retheme, this is actually pretty minor. It's pretty much the same ride and story just featuring a different band, albeit a fictional band of Muppets.

To your point, I can easily afford any of the LL product tiers but I don't see a value in it so I've never paid for it. I haven't used a FP/LL entrance since they started charging for it.
So far, my Florida resident AP still provides enough value to keep renewing but the value keeps declining...
Inflation has been across the board but from my experience, vacation inflation has been even higher, especially at "hot spots" like WDW and Vegas. I go to Vegas at the same time every year and, for the the last several years, the increases in hotel rates and food costs are just as bad as WDW...
That picture brought up something I've always wondered. Is that speed sign actually measuring your vehicle speed or is it just pre-programmed and triggered by a point in the track?
