Back on the rails ....
Is there a another E-ticket going into this area at a later date? A clone of the not yet built Hong Kong attraction? Was it a coaster? A test track or the Pandora flying theater?
Why don’t they make rides like this anymore?
Well, the last time Disney made a ride like that here in the US parks was Winnie the Pooh and People seemed to rip the hell out of for some reason (because it wasn’t Tokyo’s Honey Hunt I guess). I personally really liked it both FL and Anaheim.

As a person who has stayed at a couple of the motels in that area, it would have been a huge inconvenience and downright annoying to have to circle the block like that instead of simply crossing the street.

Just out of curiosity, when was the last attraction that opened in DLP? Was it Star Tours?
I feel like it’s been ages since that park had a new attraction. I would think they would want to open something for its 30th birthday next year.

I remember speaking to a buddy of mine who experienced it and tried filming with his camera and at one point had interference when the tour went to the lowest level.
