    Most overrated attraction

I'm probably in the minority here, but... Personally (and this is just my opinion) I have always thought Soarin is completely overrated. It's fun and everything, but I think there are so many rides at WDW that are far superior. My opinion is that it's really popular because so many people can...

    Most Disappointing Meal in WDW?

Mine was at Beaches & Cream. I had only heard good things about this place but I was disappointed. I got a hamburger and DH got a chicken sandwich. There was nothing special about our meal at all. I thought the burgers were supposed to be really good but to me it seemed like a frozen formed...

For those who have been many times...

DH & I are far from wealthy, but we LOVE WDW and we save our money specifically for that. We live in Michigan and we go about once every 9 or 12 months. First of all, we shop around for the cheapest prices we can. There are people out there who will look for airfare and think that the first...

    We're going again...........

Helen, I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am about your loss!! I also had a miscarriage in the fall. We went to Disney in December and it was the only thing that I had to look forward to, so it was good for me. I think planning and getting excited for a nice vacation to Disney is a great way...

Bring your shorts and warm jackets!!!

We're going to be down on Dec 1st. I've been to WDW many times in February but never in December. How does the weather compare to Feb? About the same or a little warmer?

Weight time vs. wait time...should disney be setting a better example?

Exactly. It's not the food at WDW that made those people obese. It's the choices they make in their daily lives. I feel that vacation is vacation and bad food is to be expected. I make healthy choices in my daily life so I can enjoy myself and splurge on those vacation times.

Would anyone be willing to share a photo with me?

Thanks so much! I got what I needed!!

Would anyone be willing to share a photo with me?

I'm looking for someone who might have a good straight on shot of Cinderella's Castle in a high enough resoultion to print it at about 8" high. The reason I ask is my sister is doing a sceince project about MK, and we need a printed picture of the castle. I can't seem to find a good shot in...

Who knows about Windsor Hills Resort??

Hi! I don't know if you can rent yearly, but I wanted to tell you about my experience there. We stayed there for part of our trip in February and were very happy with the entire resort. We rented from the owners of the particular unit we stayed in, and that seems to be the way a lot of them are...

    Honeymoon Question

We didn't seem to get that much attention on our honeymoon. Although we stayed at GF and they upgraded our room. That was really nice. We didn't come right out and say, "guess what it's our honemoon" -- I was just wearing a t-shirt that said bride on it when we checked in. And I'm sure they...

Never been to Disney Store is it worth it?

Don't think that World of Disney at DTD is just like your average Disney Store at the local shopping mall! There is WAY more stuff there, and it's stuff you can only get at WDW. You have to stop there! It's huge!

    Any Good Off Property Restaurants?

My favorite restaurant off site is Kobe Japanese Steakhouse. I know there is a restaurant similar to this at Epcot (which I have never tried), but this one is great. The food is excellent and far superior to any Japanese steakhouse I've tried here in Michigan! Their webiste is...

Questions about visiting WDW in May 2008?

DH & I stayed at POFQ in May 2005 and May 2006. Our only complaint was the heat. I'm from Michigan, so I don't like super hot weather! It was high 80s low 90s which was hot for me but I'm sure not as bad as the dead of summer! I didn't find crowd levels to be bad. Other than the two May...

    Is Boma really that good?

With all of this talk of dinner at Boma (which I love), how is the breakfast? I have reservations for breakfast there in December. Usually we do Chef Mickeys but I wanted to try something else. Do they have any "different" selections that I won't find anywhere else?

    The Last Hurrah

Well it's reassuring to hear that Disney tried to make things right. I honestly wasn't sure if they were even going to get back to you. Sometimes I feel like Disney is such a big company that they don't pay close attention to the little people (us!). But I'm glad to hear that they valued you...
