News New Haunted Mansion Grounds Expansion, Retail Shop Coming to Disneyland Resort in 2024

Wasn't the articulation of the two animatronic figures very different as well?

Avengers Campus: E-Watch! (Waiting on the new ride)

On that note, something that sticks in my mind is that we initially compared it to Transformers for the observable parallels. Yet as soon as Peter Pan opened many said that while it looks like the Universal ride it feels more like Flight of Passage. Reviewers have also said that the screens are...

    The Miscellaneous Thought Thread

I think the new missions will be a renaissance for the attraction. Honestly, the things they are doing in terms of multiple scenarios should have been a part of the ride from day one. They were ever teased, but nowhere to be seen on opening day. I think that May 22 will serve as the grand...

Avengers Campus: E-Watch! (Waiting on the new ride)

You make a good point, admittedly I am looking at the interview through an enthusiast's lens.

Avengers Campus: E-Watch! (Waiting on the new ride)

I realize that this may be all he is saying, as Disney Irish pointed out as well. My instinct to look past that stems from the fact that said approach is such an industry standard now, even Universal does it. So to me it's an odd thing to tout in an interview, much like a car manufacturer...

Avengers Campus: E-Watch! (Waiting on the new ride)

Bruce Vaughn intimated something to that effect in an interview at last year's D23. It is vague, but I have to imagine there must be substance to it since he brought it up unprompted. Here is his quote: "The other thing that we have to do with this (Avengers)attraction is put our guests at the...

Avengers Campus: E-Watch! (Waiting on the new ride)

It's more probable you both are right. The image caught my attention as I remain intrigued by the fact that this ride will supposedly have some interactivity.

Avengers Campus: E-Watch! (Waiting on the new ride)

Before one of the screens is coopted by Chris Pratt, it is showing facts about the Tyrannosaurus Rex. So they are meant to be part of the tour.

Avengers Campus: E-Watch! (Waiting on the new ride)

I was looking at that row too, but as you say it is hard to be sure. I did a little sleuthing to see if anyone had photographed a more revealing angle, but I couldn't find anything.

Avengers Campus: E-Watch! (Waiting on the new ride)

Likely I'm not the first to see this, but as I was looking at a picture of the Avenger's ride vehicle I noticed what might be screens on the dashboard. What do you suppose we're looking at?

    All things Universal Studios Hollywood

I have eaten at Mel’s, back when the I Love Lucy experience was open! Needless to say it’s been a while. Minion Cafe is a place that I forget exists, I should give it a try next time.

    All things Universal Studios Hollywood

I think it's safe to say that Universal ought to spice up their food offerings. If I have to eat at the park I usually end up at Three Broomsticks or getting the nachos from the food truck at Simpsons Land. Wish I had better advice to share.

I seem to remember someone here saying that the local security union pushes back against the use of said scanners, concerned they may replace some manned positions.

City planners looking into gondola system

A quick search suggests that each gondola has a capacity of five, so yes, that's fewer that two-hundred riders at any given time.

    All things Universal Studios Hollywood

I wouldn't be opposed to new entertainment in the ampitheater, but I do think it would be a mistake for it to be done away with. Besides Waterworld, the park's only real shows are the King Fu Panda film and the occasional Hogwarts projections. As I see it, the first of those is stale and the...
