I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see the parking lot signage change. DAK is currently the only parking lot with non-IP/character names.
Swap the names from Dinosaur, Unicorn, Giraffe, etc to Simba, Mirabel, Doug, etc.
Whatever is coming to DAK ideally needs to have no height requirement and the ability for expectant mothers to ride. Bonus points if it can stay open for bad weather.
USF has to be the worst Disney/Universal park in central Florida, and it's not even close IMO.
USF has a great over-reliance of screen-based and simulator attractions. The Mummy & ET are very good, and Diagon Alley as a land is as well, though Gringotts suffers from not being thrilling enough...
I also believe Test Track and Radiator Springs Racers are too similar. The problem for me lies in the vehicles themselves (both themed as cars) and the slow dark-ride portion followed by the high speed ending portion.
Journey to the Center of the Earth at Tokyo would be a better differentiator...
I'm not doubting that this is the requirement, but I'm not sure how strictly it is enforced. (More so, how could you? What if someone gets scared/wants to use the "chicken exit"?)
I have personally witnessed (on more than one occasion) an individual in a wheelchair go directly to the unload...
Yes we must have been at the same event as Slinky was down most of the night. Now that you mention it, I do believe they were only running the left size of Toy Story Mania, so that is my mistake.
We arrived at 7:15pm. We did:
• Star Tours (no wait)
• Falcon (20 min)
• Swirling Saucers (no wait)...
After the death of Walt Disney, the company has been hesitant to create permanent attractions (well, rides) based on TV shows. There have been some exceptions for shows/other experiences, but even those have been mostly short-lived.
If they don't make any changes to the track itself (and I don't believe they will), it will be interesting to see what show scenes could be incorporated. For example, the straight-away/weather section seem to be very story specific right now.
I suppose this belongs in the trip report section, but I wanted to give my review of After Hours this week at DHS and EPCOT.
We knew the crowds would be extremely heavy due to Spring Break/Easter, and I was traveling with my youngest teenage sibling (decent age gap). We live out of state, and I...
Guardians is far too similar to Space Mountain to be located side by side.
I would also say TRON and Test Track are very similar visually (although that is likely to change soon).
