How to plan arrival day - Epcot

Now I am thinking I will probably do ILL for GotG, and do the VQ at 6pm. That way I have some control over our return time and we are guaranteed at least one ride. We love the fireworks and want to watch Harmonious - we haven't seen it. Where's the best place to watch where we can to get to...

    Wilderness Lodge

Ah! Thank you! That's a relief. BTW, I was just browsing your recent trip report at WL. Looks amazing! I can't wait. It will be my 1st stay in a deluxe.

    Wilderness Lodge

So there is a boat running from WL to MK? I keep reading that the boats aren't running on other posts. Are some running and some not? We've never stayed at a MK resort so I am not familiar with what is normal there. We will be at WL in Sept. I was hoping we could take the boat to MK.

How to plan arrival day - Epcot

This will be a short trip, just me and DH for 3 days - flying in day 1 and flying out day 3. I know we won't be able to do everything and I am ok with that, but I want to do as much as we can! I already added Genie+ to our whole trip before the rules changed on June 8, thinking it would be...

How to plan arrival day - Epcot

We will be flying in Labor Day, landing around noon. We're staying at WL. We are doing Epcot that day so we can use EEH that night and hopefully fit it 2-3 extra rides. I hope we can be at Epcot by 3 - is that realistic? And how do I handle Genie+ on a travel/arrival day like this? I think I can...

    Book Flights Now or Wait?

If you are flying Southwest, book it today! They have a 40% offer booking June 7-9 for flights 8/16-11/5. It's for "select flights", but it's worth checking. Ours qualified for the discount and it saved us hundreds of dollars.

Can you use a Disney travel agent if renting points/staying off property

Thanks! That is good to know. I'd hate to waste someone's time or take advantage of them if we decided weren't going to stay on property.

Can you use a Disney travel agent if renting points/staying off property

Thank you. This is the part I am getting at. Will one of these agents book off site or partner hotels and be able to offer planning services? What if we rent DVC points? We are not opposed to staying onsite, in which case we would be booking through an agent, I just am confused about how it...

Can you use a Disney travel agent if renting points/staying off property

Hi! I was searching online and couldn''t find a clear answer to this question: can you use a Disney travel agent if you don't book a hotel room with them and just buy tickets through them? Our last trip was 2018 and everything is different now, including no dining plans. We are considering all...

    Show Stoppers

Our family doesn't go often (only once with our family of 5 - I went 3 times as a kid). I don't want to go again until Hoop Dee Doo is back up. It was so much fun last time, a highlight of our trip in 2018. I'd hate to miss it on our 2nd trip.

    Disney in May?

We went in early May of 2018 and it was great! It was a convenient time for us to go. It was warm (high 80s/low 90s) but not oppressively hot yet. It rained a bit on arrival and departure days, but that's it. I remember checking the Orlando weather the week after we went and it rained buckets...

Space Mountain hurts me too much to ride it again until it's repaired. Anyone else feel this way?

I was 13 when I decided I wouldn't/couldn't ride it again, so I totally agree with OP. It was not enjoyable at an age it should've been.

    Kilimanjaro safari while pregnant?

Love how you clarified that you weren't going to ride it, then everyone told you not to ride it. lol I don't think bumpy rides make you have a baby early unless there is an underlying problem. I suppose it could cause contractions, and if you were already having contractions and rode a bumpy...

    Mother's day in Disney :)

We went May 6-12 in 2018, and it was great. It did feel like almost summer, but highs were about 90 at most on some days (not too bad) and we had no rain the entire week until departure day. (Right after we left, it rained for two weeks straight.) We had a great time. The Flower and Garden...

    Favorite WDW restaurants for kids

My kids loved Hoop De Doo Review. I know it's a show/dinner, but they laughed the whole time, and ate the food.
