Refurbishment coming to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort lobby

I did not have "Len Testa is a woodworker" on my bingo card.

DHS Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

I'm no expert on what generations do or do not love the Muppets. What I can say is that I am Gen-X and I love the Muppets. I also know that others of my generations are fond of the Muppets.

Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World

I said "my recollection". If I can micromanage down to the minute, then I will just re-state that I will find it less objectionable. I still strongly prefer not having to plan out the minutia of a day at Disney weeks in advance, without have any context of what the crowds are actually like, and...

Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World

Unless you are staying for a very long time, there was no way that you could book every top attraction because of the tiers. You could only guarantee one of the top tier attractions at any given park. I can't remember exactly how many things were in the tiers with old FP+, but if you look at...

Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World

It remains to be seen (as far as I know) what "picking a time" means. My recollection of the time picking for FP+ was "here are 3 random times from various parts of the day" and it wasn't very helpful. If they instead give you options for each hour of the day (9-10, 10-11, 11-12, etc) where you...

Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World

You're right about the ILL being able to be done in advance--confused myself. As for the other, the modifying times function of FP+ was abysmal. It was just random times picked from pools. You could keep refreshing to try to get something to your liking, but I like being able to track...

Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World

Based on comments in the past, I am not surprised that so many people think this is an improvement. I simply don't understand or agree. It seems a major component of this is "I don't want to have to get up at 7 to book lightning lanes." Well, first, you could only book 1 regular LL anyway...

    Disney, VR/AR, and Apple's WWDC 2023

I am not somebody who is interested in VR. I don't find any of the existing technology to be appealing in any way. That said, it is clear that many of the people commenting here did not watch the quite lengthy video introduction or explanation of the technology behind it. I don't think this...

France Exec. Chef retires no timeline on table service

My personal experience is completely different. I have had some of the friendliest waiters at Chefs de France that I have had in all of WDW, which I generally consider to be a high standard. I have eaten there 3 times and never been treated anything but courteously.

Disney Skyliner shutdown and evacuation - October 6 2019

I said that HIPAA prohibits the release of personally identifiable information. That is absolutely correct. I did not get into the further aspects of who is covered and under what circumstances. Additional information supplied by others is also relevant, but I didn't address that in what I said...

Disney Skyliner shutdown and evacuation - October 6 2019

What you wrote, while true, does not contradict what I said.

Disney Skyliner shutdown and evacuation - October 6 2019

HIPAA does not allow personally identifiable health information to be shared. HIPAA would not prevent Disney from saying that some specific injury happened to an unnamed person.

EPCOT Spaceship Earth Refurb - 2 Year Closure

I don't personally know if the person in the garage is intended to be a specific individual, but I always say "It's Woz!" (Steve Wozniak) when going by that scene. This is not intended as any kind of knock on Steve Jobs, but the guy doing the hardware work on the original Apple computer was Woz.
