News Disney will begin reducing physical distancing to 3ft over the next few weeks at Walt Disney World

Nope. We have been isolated, none of us has had so much as a sniffle since last year. Who knows? A few females I know have reacted similarly, from all ages. Most of them averaged about 24 hours. Maybe we have super immune systems? The high fevers would make me think it's just an overreacting...

News Disney will begin reducing physical distancing to 3ft over the next few weeks at Walt Disney World

I had a bad reaction. First shot was 24 hours in bed, slept 15 hours, waking briefly only to feel awful. Severe nausea, migraine, body aches, chills, fever. Second shot, same thing, but even worse, and it lasted over 48 hours. My 16 yr. old had the exact same issues, bed, chills, fever, aches...

News New Changes Coming to the Disney Look 2021

"Reasonable accommodations are provided to Cast Members under the Disney Look for sincerely-held religious beliefs. A Cast Member may request a religious accommodation by completing and sending to Employee Relations a Religious Accommodation Request form that is available on The Hub." They...

Where’s the best food in Magic Kingdom

We like Skippers Canteen. It has been made a little more boring over time. Now we always ask them to make everything spicier (they have made the curried vegetable dish a little less spicy every time we've been there.) We also tend to stick to multiple apps to share, instead of entrees. I always...

News Walt Disney World's COVID-19 reopening plans announced - July 11

We have a res. for Swan in late August. I'm still trying to figure out if it's going to be worth it to go. Will we even get into the parks? What is 3 of us have tickets, and one has an annual pass? Will we have different reservation systems/requirements? ughhhh I hate the uncertainty.

Got an email. I have reservations for late July and late August- nothing has been cancelled yet on MDE. weird.

News Walt Disney World's COVID-19 reopening plans announced - July 11

I received one last night. Not sure which reservations they are talking about, however- I have dining/events booked for July 20-24 (no hotel), and an entire trip for 4 booked for August 24-30 at Swan/with tickets/dining/events. I also have an AP for both trips, but it has not been activated yet...

News Walt Disney World's COVID-19 reopening plans announced - July 11

We would be going as part of a convention, hotel is free, already have an ap. So I could easily justify it. Considering how many conventions are being cancelled though, I'm assuming there will be no July trip for us this year.

    Worth the hype?/Unpopular Opinion

We finally did Brown Derby a year ago- the drinks were good. The food was- not. The cobb salad was probably the worst cobb salad I've ever had in my life- soggy, tasteless. None of us were impressed with anything we ordered. I might try again, though- different days, different people working in...

    Controversial/ Unpopular theme park opinions

Pandora is stupid and boring. One pretty good ride, one pretty but nothing ride, way too much $ spent on all of it. I get my fp, ride it, leave.

POLL: When are you planning to return to Walt Disney World?

No good answer for me- I put "sometime in 2020". Right now I have a trip planned for July, and one for August. I'd have to see where we were in terms of opening, and the virus, to really make a decision. Leaving them as is, for now. I'll reevaluate depending on the situation.

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

I keep thinking of the fact that we may have a smaller % of elderly, but our elderly also tend to be less healthy, on the whole.
