Most individuals book their vacations pretty far in advance, and August is still high season (well, until the kids go back to school), so it may be tough to find space at this late date. I agree with the poster above me, call Disney - maybe they can find you a room for longer than the 3 days...

I hear from friends who fly a lot that AirTran is HORRIBLE about changing flight times on you after you've booked the flight, and they're even worse about notifying their customers! They might not do that now, at this late date, but who knows really. Be careful!

I'm all for new attractions, but I have to say I'm surprised by the Ratatouille theme. It was an adorable movie - but I expected a restaurant tie-in somewhere, naturally, not a roller coaster. :shrug: Ah well. I'm sure this will be good too.

You can always ask the CM taking your call at the Disney Dining number for help in this regard. They should be happy to assist you if you give them a date and time range in which you're willing to dine.

Bad publicity is always much more effective than angry customer complaints. Can you imagine, a few bad articles in/on the more popular travel magazines/websites would probably drive their customer relations department batty. They are very protective of their image.

Ugh, this is such a bummer. I wish I'd known about this one; my husband is a roller coaster junkie and we're going the week after Labor Day. I'm really disappointed in Disney on this.
