Overnight Scout program, plus general tips

I'm doing an overnight Cub Scout program with my 7 and 10 year old boys in two weeks. I'm an uber-planner, and am not finding as much information on the internet as I'd hoped. If you've done the overnight program before, is there anything you wish you'd known ahead of time, or any great tips...

    PhotoPass photo quality

Hey everybody. I was looking at our PhotoPass photos from our trip, and the picture quality seems to be rather poor. Is this just how they display to make sure people don't pirate the pictures, or is this pretty true to how they'd print out if we ordered them?

    Weather--need a new plan. Help?

Thanks everybody. It never crossed my mind not to go to the park. I'd just meant, what's our best plan for bad weather--best indoor attractions, keep MK as we'd planned, or is another park better in the rain, that sort of thing. By the way, tonight in Downtown Disney we got absolutely drenched...

    Weather--need a new plan. Help?

We've got a weather emergency. Tomorrow is our only day in the parks, and we're traveling with two small children. I was prepared for a few quick showers, but now we've got a strong chance of thunderstorms. How should we tackle this?

    Disney transport and strollers

We're staying at Pop Century and will be taking a double stroller with us. On the resort transportation buses, will I need to fold the stroller? The opening to the basket is small, and a full size diaper bag won't fit through the opening, so I'd planned several smaller bags--one for a change of...

Finder app on iPhone and android

I have an iPhone, my husband has a droid. I'm having trouble finding a decent friend finder app that will work on both. Have you found one?

Pop Century--tranportation and other random questions

We'll be staying at Pop Century three weeks from now, and I'm trying to sort out some of the details of our trip. Can anyone help me with some of these? Transportation: I know that a lot will depend on crowds. Once I am on the bus, how long will it take to get to MK? Do buses run...

Do they still do this at CBR?

    Call! Definitely worth asking.

    Will it "snow" without MVMCP?

We're going December 11th, and since our little ones are very little, do not plan to do the MVMCP. Is there any chance it will snow on Main Street, or is that only for the party?

Going to Disney Alone, Need Advice

I did Disney on my own twice, and loved it. The first time was when I needed to leave my apartment for five days (long story). I tried to find someone to go on a vacation with me, but no one was free, so I went on my own. It was awkward for all of two minutes. After that, I discovered that...

Chezman--Congrats!! Brewer--they are offering discounts at the resorts in early December. When you go to the website, under the Parks and Travel tab, click on "Special Offers." Here's what I'm seeing there now: * Special Offers Enjoy a FREE dining plan with this great offer! * Get a...

    what to bring?!

As pp-ers have said, do not forget sunscreen. Even in the winter, you can get a burn in Florida, especially if you're fair. The sun is also brutally brightm so sunglasses are a must, but bring cheap ones (I lost a $250 pair last time I was there. My toddler kept pulling them off my head so I...

    What to expect in December

My husband was in Orlando on business just two weeks ago, and the people at his hotel told him that everything is packed for the whole month of December. We'd planned a trip for the second week of December, and I thought that was one of the better times to go for crowds. Most of the websites...

    ticket question

This is a two part question. Background: we are taking my (nearly) 4 YO and 1 YO in December. The baby is free, and DH and I have unexpired park-hopper tickets. That means we're only buying a ticket for the 4 yo. DH only sees the need to buy a one-park ticket for him. I'm sure that would be...

2 yo and 5 mo - What to bring?

Snacks! I'm all for eating resort food, as that's part of the fun, but a 2 yo in a long line needs goldfish, or something along those lines. If your 2 yo drinks a lot of milk, get some tetra packs of milk that don't require refrigeration so you can always have some on hand without worrying...
