In for Dopey #2 for myself and Castaway Cay 5k. It's a family affair this time ... the wife has the 5K, 10K and Castaway Cay 5K and both kids are running dashes (DS 200m, DD 100m)! Cannot wait ... time to kick training into gear!

While cooler last year, the weather for the Marathon was a bit of everything. We started out with a cool morning around 50º ... temperatures warmed up, but by the time I was coming out of AK I saw storm clouds coming and as I hit the entrance to ESPN WWS it started raining and it rained at...

Got in a 5k today on the TM ... around 11 min p/mile pace. Been a little lazy due to the cold up here ... been running off and on a couple of days a week ... when it drops below 15 to 20 degrees, I just want to stay warm. Looking forward to the mid 40's next week ... moving outside to prepare...

When mywife and I picked up my sons race packet, he was asleep in the room. All we needed was our ID and his Waiver with his name ... I brought his passport just in case but did not need it.

Usually registration begins at 12 noon EST

3.11 miles yesterday at an average 10:59 p/mile pace. Going to start working on speed now that I don't have to worry about 4 consecutive races :)

So if anyone else tried to register for the Dumbo today, I hoped you had better luck than me. I was on right at 12EST on the DVC member page ... refreshed for 10 to 15 minutes, finally a custom link was added to the top of the site ... clicked on it and it was sold out!?!?!? So annoyed ...

FYI ... Tomorrow at noon, DVC and AP holders can register early for Disneyland Races. Hoping to get Dumbo registration completed ... Here I come coast to coast :)
