Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party 2025

Several of the adults on our trip questioned why we did not just get a 6-day pass like we had in the past. When I showed them the difference between the numbers only 2 of 16 decided they wanted the 6-day pass.

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party 2025

This was our plan for our trip last week. The 3-day, 3 park pass and our MK day was Friday’s (8/22) party. Edited to add… Of course, the plan included watching the fireworks from O’hana during Tuesday night’s party. With our large party (16) we sent the kids with mother-in-law to have the...

    WDW July 4 2025

I have no insider info. I am just a mom who travels with a “tribe.” There will be 16 of us on our August trip. Our kids go back to school after labor so we very often travel 3rd/4th week of August due to pricing and lower crowds. This is the first time I called group dining 59 days out (60...

MK Prairie Outpost in Frontierland to reopen soon as a hat shop

A heavy hat probably not, but there are plenty of people who do not realize how strong the Florida sun is and forget to pack a hat. Will this be a replacement for “La Chapeau”? Visiting the talented seamstresses who would embroider a little one’s first set of ears was a very special part of a...

New Enhancements, Dining Options Coming to Disney’s BoardWalk

The first one is Pocahontas. I agree second is Mulan. Because of the white on the other two, I was thinking Uncle Scrooge and Launchpad, but they are not with the other ducks. Then, I thought about Pongo and Perdita, but then there would be more scattered black. Mary Poppins wears a white dress...

Interesting new transportation Option: Whoosh - Autonomous Elevated Cable & Rail System

Texas and Florida are warm all year. Jersey is not. It is my understanding snow and ice were major contributing factors to the deterioration of the airtrain at Newark. If the cable is not moving constantly, like a ski lift, ice will be an issue. Back on topic, if a similar stationary cable...

News New Polynesian Resort DVC villas building to open 2024

I am not thrilled with the direction this project is going, but in all fairness, this is clearly a view of the loading dock. It is hard to judge the architecture of a building based on its most utilitarian feature.

    Permits 2024

First, thank you for keeping us all informed. On the street view in Google maps, if one “walks” around to the sites marked 118 and 120, these appear to be cabins on a loop behind the Settlement Trading Post.

Rumor Higher Speed Rail from MCO to Disney World

In my particular case, it was a combination of factors. I was pregnant. I did not want to deal with TSA enhanced screening, being swished into an airplane seat or worse an airplane bathroom, seatbelt extenders, etc., so no plane. It was impractical to stop every 30-45 min for comfort station...

Rumor Higher Speed Rail from MCO to Disney World

In many cases, the railroad maintains the right-of-way with a memorandum of understanding or similar agreement to allow the abandoned line to become a trail. The property is far too valuable, and the non-profits building the trail can seldom raise the funds to purchase land.

New Enhancements, Dining Options Coming to Disney’s BoardWalk

Boardwalk Deli is only open until 10pm. Although, I was pleasantly surprised to see the pizza window is listed as open until midnight. Unfortunately, more than once, I have arrived in Orlando substantially later than my flight was scheduled and needed to feed my tribe. Most of the resorts no...
