Yes, Hagrid's gets a decent sized crowd for Early Park Admission to this day. Epic previews have been the same, and USF gets it to a degree for Gringotts (EPA is held at IOA only so far, so most people drop drop Hagrid/Velocicoaster).
Abu Dhabi modern architecture is what Epcot's Future World should have been over the years.
There are some more "historical" places like Al Jahili fort and Qasr Al Hosn that can fit into World Showcase with modern interiors and maybe another theater show? Could fit in the small expansion pad...
Just speculation, as I'm unsure of how much land Disney is being given along with how much land they're willing to reclaim from the sea (if they do). Red is a transportation system that would ideally connect all parks, resorts, etc.
I'm hoping it's successful enough for Disney to realize how crucial it is to have "relaxation areas" for people in between the major rides. I want capacity additions, but I also want guest improvement initiatives like this.
The biggest lesson WDI & Disney executives can take from Epic is the level of quality/investment made at each quick service location at Epic Universe. They are all well-themed and amazing environments to relax in. A/C, high quality theming, and plenty of seating. While I have issues with UOR's...
It'll be interesting to see how Epic Universe impacts the resort, and what Universal is comfortable with crowd-wise. Donkey Kong not only has horrible hourly throughput, but also down 20% of the time since AP previews started.
Universal also still has operational challenges at its existing...
Mario Kart is a great ride, just don't go in expecting a Test Track like experience. While I would have preferred a faster-paced attraction, it's still a solid ride.
Donkey Kong I have issues with. It's low capacity and very short, but some of the drops are surprisingly steeper than expected...
If they're getting rid of the railroad... that pretty much confirms to me they intend on taking out the river for a phase 2. Pair that with relocation of BoH facilities... they're looking at substantial expansion for both TDL and TDS.
I've been saying for a few years now that Orlando (overall, not just the parks specifically) was flirting with a price ceiling. Not just Disney, but Universal and all the other area hotels were raising prices to ridiculous highs to take advantage of post-Covid travel. Now, the entire area is...
Just fun speculation, but the green highlighted areas are currently warehouse areas not used by OCL that may be worth purchasing for additional resort space.
The area just to the north of the original DisneySea parking garage is the likelier candidate, but we shall see.
How exactly does an AP preview of a night parade operationally work?
Close MK at 10PM, clear entire park + Main Street by 11:00-11:30PM, and then start it off then? Doesn't sound feasible to me. Especially with people still lined up an hour plus at Tron, Seven Dwarfs, etc.
