    Universal UK

My assumption is that we'll still see a few properties utilized from Orlando (Minions, Jurassic, DreamWorks, etc.) mixed in with a few exclusive IPs (Bond, etc.). Pretty much expect no attractions from Orlando replicated here, but some of the unique stuff at Beijing (like JW Ride). While not...

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Now Open!

They are thinking long term and expect to use the expansion pad that will eventually act as a visual barrier. I do wish they had build a proper berm between HTTYD and stardust tho

WDW during a Recession / Economic Downturn

I sort of agree/disagree with this assessment. On the one hand, DAK should have way more rides than it does now... but the rides that do exist have great capacity. Cosmic Rewind was built with high-capacity throughput in mind, so I still think Disney cares about that stuff. Same for...

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Now Open!

Once they are done with the wall, they'll likely plant trees in front of it (or behind) and create both a man made and physical visual wall. With that said, it'll likely still be seen from Hiccup's/Stardust as the giant expansion pad is being left untouched. All we can hope for at this...

Rip Ride Rockit Permanently Closing August 18 2025

GB thrives off having a practical show element... which a high-speed thrill coaster doesn't suit well. A dark ride is obvious, but a stage show using special effects (ala the Spooktacular) works.

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Now Open!

After a few visits to Epic Universe, I have a somewhat general grasp on what the park needs to prioritize: These are general ideas of what the park could benefit from. There are three top priorities for Epic Universe (in my opinion): Shade Structures, specifically at SNW and Celestial Park...

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Now Open!

Problem with Epic Universe is that even with attractions operating at 99% efficiency and uptime, it'll still struggle capacity-wise. Donkey Kong can barely handle 1,000 guests an hour. And that's assuming they are hitting their best dispatch interval. Ministry of Magic is running at reduced...

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Now Open!

Epic Universe is not in an operational state (in my opinion) to accept AP. Just like you, I'm looking forward to hopping in after work for a nice meal at Cafe L'Air or Atlantic, but the park is not operationally ready for the AP crowd yet. What I could see happen, is a reservation system in...

EPCOT New GEO-82 Spaceship Earth Lounge Coming to EPCOT

Finally was able to experience the lounge last night after a last-minute reservation dropped. I think it's a fine concept, the lounge looks great, but the price point is hard to swallow. We enjoyed every drink/item, but not enough to justify returning. For the same price of two drinks and a...

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Now Open!

I initially thought it was related to the entertainment building located between SNW and park entrance, but they wouldn't have painted it green. It makes sense for this visual barrier to be pushed later into the construction timeline as this is low in the list of priorities.

Magic Kingdom Starlight Parade Brings New Annual Passholder Park Reservation Rule

For 3/4 of the year, the weather is fine. But July & August is unbearable with the heat and thunderstorms. Obvious why people have been skipping out on attendance these months.

Magic Kingdom Starlight Parade Brings New Annual Passholder Park Reservation Rule

I think it's a combination of things... Temperatures are at their peak now Traditional afternoon thunderstorms are annoying to deal with for locals APs are heavily restricted General economy

DHS Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

Yeah, not sure how a larger building is a negative lol Just hope it doesn't ruin the skyline of SWGE

Universal's food is still pretty bad

Toadstool is not the worst restaurant, it's just the least exciting of all of Epic Universe's offerings. If you end up eating there, it' no problem but it's annoying to know when other better options are available lol

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Now Open!

I unfortunately agree. USF, like Epcot, can thrive off of special events like HHN, Mardi Gras and the holidays. Epic Universe needing a capacity boost is unfortunately a pressing priority.

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Now Open!

At the moment, WDW is receiving major expansions 2 full new large lands (at MK) and two half new/half repurposed lands at DAK and DHS. I think UOR is more than capable of doing that at their parks as well. USF - Prioritize a new E-ticket attraction at the scale of Monsters/Ministry to give the...

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Now Open!

I got heat for saying this years ago, but I honestly would have preferred IOA and USF to be built out. USF would be a killer park with Ministry, SNW and Monsters. IOA could have gotten HTTYD. My hope is that UOR sees the value in improving its existing parks and we see improvements sooner...

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Now Open!

I wish, but the park is struglging with operating rides efficiently. The math doesn't make sense for Stardust to be a 120 min wait with a capacity of ~2,300 guests an hour, while Monsters Unchained with a capacity of ~2,100 guests is a 45 min wait.

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Now Open!

Today is looking like the "busiest" day wait-time wise. Unsure if attendance has increased or if their just having issues. Stardust being a 120 wait, is suggesting operational difficulties since it has 2.4K in capacity. This park was severely underbuilt when it comes to capacity, and the...
