If the resort can find a way to retain the Leave a Legacy faces after redoing EPCOT, I am hopeful they can find a respectful way to continue to display this important replica somewhere where guests can enjoy it.

To be fair, the only interior official concept art they've released make it pretty clear which part of the film the ride may be choosing to highlight. ;)

Also known by team members as a "Technical Rehearsal", soft openings are where the employees and the ride tech itself are tested with real guests in the park to get it running smoothly before the ride is officially open. Soft opens usually happen anywhere from a few weeks to even a couple months...

The media preview is June 22-24 I believe, so the official grand opening won't be until then. I expect "technical rehearsals" to start a few weeks prior, but most folks are convinced they'll start in the beginning of May.

I finally got a chance to see a vehicle test in action! And caught it on video too. I also got video of the food stand almost ready for guests. My guess is most of the construction walls will come down and the stands will open long before the ride actually does. And I saw crew hanging hair-like...

I would love that, but the only gift shop we know about will be an outdoor stand near the exit... However I have heard there is a surprise for us in the final scene, which is after unload on your way out of the building... so fingers crossed!
