Is that true? Before we got it straightened out, two members of my party had BG 103, but it wasn’t implied that was a backup group - at least not that I saw. This was at 7:01 or so...
Boarding group 43. Tried opening the app from scratch at 6:59, but it never got back in before 7. Fortunately my wife was also on it. We had a finger fumble that split our group in two (43 vs 103), but Saint Nicole with the Guest Experience Team at the entrance to Toy Story land saved our...
I’m following along in preparation for a late January trip... just out of curiosity, what are the boarding groups maxing out at? What numbers (roughly) are the last ones getting in?
But then I find people complain about having to walk more than 5 minutes anywhere at Disney, even though inside the parks they walk for several miles a day! Whether it's "long halls" at Kidani or BW, or the walk from the Contemporary to MK (a whole 10 minutes if you walk at a 2 year old's pace)...
I too, am a frequent sufferer of pixie dust and don't feel the need to go off property for my meals, but I don't agree with your numbers. Looking at DDP value calculators, there were only like ten QS and even fewer TS* that got you to or over the break even point and that was the old price...
But aren't Universal's Marvel rights somewhat limited to the pre-MCU comic book versions of the characters in question? Like, Universal can draw on the canon of Iron Man or Captain America that existed in the comics, but they can't use an obvious RDJ version of Iron Man or make a ride based on...
I'm not sure Disney cares about the time you're spending at the table, at least not specifically related to this. I'm sure they'd rather you order that appetizer and take as much time as you want enjoying your meal, so long as you're paying for it OUT OF POCKET. They just want to find that...
I've never felt the dining plan was worth it in the long run. I still don't, but... including alcohol in the mix is one step in the right direction - because that's closer to what I'm going to do anyway. If I go out, I have a beer or a cocktail with my dinner. If I went out on the dining...
Given its location in Hollywood Studios and its proximity to Sci-Fi Dine In, I think it would be more interesting to capitalize on the "Tours" part of the name (ala tours of the Hollywood stars houses) - make it a multiple IP ride thru any and all of Disney's sci-fi properties: Star Wars...
How about we split the difference? I think the Shanghai Pirates ride concept would easily lend itself to an Indiana Jones adventure (Lost City of Atlantis, anyone?).
UPDATE: And of course, I just saw that you posted that idea on another thread...
Anybody figure this out? EMH or otherwise? I'll buy a hash brown dog for anybody who can tell me when I can get into Main St. when the park officially opens at 8am...
Ok, so I haven't seen this answered - if the Magic Kingdom opens at 8am on the day in question, will they actually open Main Street at 7? If they drop the Castle welcome show (at 7:45 or whatever), that's fine. But I'm unclear when the turnstiles open.
