I also know this to be true :/ however most of the cavalcade is still together, its been gutted of any usable parts. I assume it to be demolished soon. It's still in the storage shed where DEP/CDCT is kept.

Over the past few weeks parade maintenance as taken anything the could reuse off the spectro floats (speakers, batteries, decorations, ect.). With all that done, they well begin chopping up the floats; that will start most likely this week.

And this press event will come shortly after the closing of both DHS parade offerings (CTF and DCR). Any thoughts....

you have to look at the overall time table of the day... both whats going on and off stage. its rushed backstage when there is a 7:00 DEP, there's NO way you could do a 6:30

- last week the ride and show quality team was out inspecting the drive unit of the little mermaid float, which is one of the first steps in getting spectro back out. - also for the past couple days they have been charging the cavalcade(the last 2 floats of the parade)

the lift on top of the MT is broke and has to be taken out of the MT to be fixed which they are not doing till the show goes down for its referb in Jan

we did do the new version of the show today... from what i could see everyone seemed to enjoy it!!! hope someone puts up a vid soon!!!!

rehearsals are underway for MISICI 2.0!!! The cast is really happy with the changes being made!

there will be new travel music, 2 new characters along with the rearranging of the current characters, and different layout of how the floats are parked. this "new" show should start around nov 20th. also note, there will be no 5:40 show several days next week.

just FYI.. all of the entertainment at DTD is done by outside groups. This gives local groups the chance to get out and preform.

the reason we were told is "We are testing guest flow."

as from what i have heard from the parade maintenance team, they have been taking parts from spectro to fix/maintain DEP. So before spectro returns it will have to be put back together.
