Living With the Land...in peril?

It's been closed for 3 days.

Please tell me this is just due to a malfunction and it's not headed down the Primeval Whirl path!

From what I’ve heard. It’s just a malfunction/maintenance being done. There was a water leak a few days ago I believe and I think they’re trying to repair that. But yeah.

I will say though, I’d be very very upset to see Living with the Land close altogether. It’s one of the most relaxing & distinctly EPCOT attractions there is.

I would be heartbroken. It's been my favorite since I was a little girl.

Those greenhouses are actually in use right? If so it wouldn’t make any sense to close the ride if they can’t replace those greenhouses.

Possibly an IP tie in with "The Little Shop of Horrors" to handle any guests dumb enough to leave the boats.

I certainly hope it's some unscheduled maintenance and not some bigger project being done. I'm sure it would have been announced but like many here, unexpected closures make me nervous. Looking at you 20k.

Nothing in those greenhouses is critical the operation of the parks. Yes, they use some of the food out of there in the restaurants, but they will just get that somewhere else.

I have always considered The Land the best pavilion in EPCOT. It’s got three attractions (one a true E ticket) , a back stage tour, the best food court for counter service, the most unique sit down dining (with characters).

This must be maintenance. As we see, a lot of stuff is breaking in the parks.

I have a feeling WDW lost a lot of institutional knowledge in the area of maintenance when they laid off all those cast members to save costs in the name of COVID..

Probably my favorite attraction in today's EPCOT. I would be so sad if it went away.

They're not going to permanently close a ride in a park that desperately needs capacity, especially when it runs through an area that's already used for other things anyways. That doesn't mean they won't close it one day, but I don't think there's anything to worry about right now.

It's my second favorite attraction at EPCOT and one of my favorites at WDW, so I hope it stays open forever!

Anyone know what's going on with LwtL? From what I can tell, it hasn't operated since last Friday. Is there a parts issue?

Per multiple reports this was unplanned down time, been down for 5 days or so, and some say its the boats, others say its some other mechanical issue

If people have been stuck on the boats in there for 5 days at least they will not go hungry.
