Nemo fans! I need your help identifying some audio from The Seas w/ Nemo & Friends! Listen here:


So the track I'm trying to find is the music that you hear right at that spot, but you hear that kind of sonar-sounding noise? That's what I can't find. I recognize it from the movie but have listened to the score online and can't find it! I was able to find this:



Which is the correct music, but no sonar-sounding noise! Any thoughts? If not I guess I'll watch the movie this weekend and try to find it.

Hmm, having listened to it i'm not that familiar with that particular sound effect in the film, the sonar noise as you say isn't really a familiar instrument that newman uses in his score for the film and he tends to use an always familiar set up for his film scores that has that familair "thomas newman" sound to them.

I think this may be something that's been added to the ride and whoever mixed the music for this ride. They've added thomas newmans familiar score to the ride, but whoever has mixed it together must have added that sonar sound effect.

Its sounds like it could be generated from a synthesizer, an ondes Martenot, or a theremin:
