Typhoon Returning

Seems like a crew of college kids are being brought in to clean up the remnants of a major typhoon. The goal is to return the area to a tropical paradise for locals to enjoy again sometime this summer...

It’s the name of the little boat marooned on the island at Typhoon Lagoon. If bookings are what they’re reported to be for the summer, this will be a welcome reopening.

That still makes sense from a tourist load standpoint with school calendars. A lot of things seem rumoured or confirmed to that mid-June timeframe.

There is less focus on Memorial Day vs. 4th of July this year due to fear of crowding, so premieres should occur in the intervening weeks.

Probably because all the federal response set 7/4 as the “target date”

it actually is possible to have everyone 12 and up vaccinated by 6/30...if they shifted enough Pfizer to kids.

it’s not gonna happen...but the goal was to set it up where you can “claim victory”
