Actually, I'm no longer sure what I was asking about! Probably a replacement for Stitch? I realize the likelihood of any work being done now is quite low but I was wondering whether there might be some plans for the space (way) down the line.

But what do we expect from a company that thinks Moana and Monsters Inc belong in Epcot and Tomorrowland.

I think Ralph can fit in PLAY! with an attraction tied to technology and the internet as a character the audience can connect with...the key is that the attraction itself has to make sense within the scope of the area its in, and WDI doesn't always knock that out of the park. With what I've read about Sugar Rush Racers, I'm skeptical that it would make sense in Stitch's old space. Disney may have pulled back on the idea due to the sequel's box office returns and it being an unlikely attraction to replicate at another park.

It really bothers me that Monsters Inc. is in Tomorrowland.

WDI needs to lean into the feeling of optimism of the future with the world on the move if they want Tomorrowland to be a place that guests want to visit again. At least the Peoplemover is finally working.

WiR isn’t futuristic.

Its only appropriate home would be DHS. There are multiple buildings as options lining Animation Courtyard. Turn the Animation building into a legitimate pavilion with multiple attractions tied to any animated IPs Chapek would like. For once, it would be an acceptable decision.

I wish they'd just drop Toy Story from the land altogether. It works but it's not a great fit. A heavily-themed Pizza Planet on the other hand would be a nice addition. I just don't think we need 2 Toy Story laser tag type attractions.

The only way Ralph would work in Tomorrowland is if they played up the Hero's Duty Cybug visuals and made either a A.E. type show in the Stitch building (armchair idea from @Bocabear, I believe) or retired Buzz Space Ranger Spin and put a Cybug Defense laser tag/darkride as a replacement. Obviously for it to work though they would still need to have Ralph, Vanellope Von Schweetz, Sergeant Calhoun and possibly Fix it Felix as cameo AAs.

The outlier is the Monster's Inc show, which clearly needs to move to DHS as has been mentioned ad nauseam. But then what does Disney do with that building space? I'd look at replacing Monsters soon! It starts to become a game of musical chairs.
