Great news in my neck of the woods...
Atlanta Braves and Mercedes-Benz Stadium to allow full capacity starting next month
Considering Georgia's low vaccination rate I would say that's actually bad news.

I just looked and Cobb and Gwinnet counties are about 14% both doses not counting pharmacy and LTC dosesConsidering Georgia's low vaccination rate I would say that's actually bad news.
I don't think the Braves are asking anyone who is uncomfortable to come to the games. I think it's great from a mental health perspective. We make light of sports sometimes but for sports fans it's a big part of their lives and it brings them joy. I'm counting on those people to act responsibly in these packed houses and I believe they will.Considering Georgia's low vaccination rate I would say that's actually bad news.
My only issue with it is I would have to go watch the Braves playConsidering Georgia's low vaccination rate I would say that's actually bad news.
Something interesting the OC Mayor said in his news conference today is that their vaccination totals do not include vaccinations done by either DoD or or the VA since the federal government has not released that data.
I do think we have underestimated throughout the pandemic just how essential venues for entertainment and relaxation are to a properly functioning, mentally sound society. Sitting at home watching Netflix only goes so far.I don't think the Braves are asking anyone who is uncomfortable to come to the games. I think it's great from a mental health perspective. I didn’t even have Netflix before Covid. I held out forever but the pandemic got meI do think we have underestimated throughout the pandemic just how essential venues for entertainment and relaxation are to a properly functioning, mentally sound society. I still don’t have Netflix but my Disney+ subscription is coming in handy!I didn’t even have Netflix before Covid. I held out forever but the pandemic got me![]()
I think the comment was something along the lines of current percent vaccinated in OC was not inclusive of DoD and VA vaccinations for residents but that if they get that data there could be a sizable bump up in percent vaccinated. I take that to mean they would include them. I’m paraphrasing. It was in the Q&A towards the end. VA could be anywhere. Is there an active military base in or around Orange County? So what number are the using to determine the phases?
I actually took a look at what we had vs what we all actually watched. We chopped a few thingsI didn’t even have Netflix before Covid. I held out forever but the pandemic got me![]()
Florida according to the CDC sets at 14,851,191 doses administered so there's definitely a discrepancy somewhere.Something interesting the OC Mayor said in his news conference today is that their vaccination totals do not include vaccinations done by either DoD or or the VA since the federal government has not released that data.
Gonna hit up the United game over Memorial weekend, can not wait for that. I'm vaccinated and so are my friends, what else can you ask for hahaGreat news in my neck of the woods...

I've had people tell me I need to go ride a coaster lol. There's only so long before I feel like I'm going stir crazy and need to scream.I do think we have underestimated throughout the pandemic just how essential venues for entertainment and relaxation are to a properly functioning, mentally sound society. And fastpassesI think its safe to say Disney World this summer is going to look A LOT DIFFERENT than Disney world looked just 4 months ago.
Capacity increase is 100% coming and they better open some more things up because if they dont its going to get pretty crowded fast.
They need more shows, restaurants, etc......
So I guess I wouldn't be included in those numbers because I went to a pharmacy. I also traveled out of county to get mine 2 doses.I just looked and Cobb and Gwinnet counties are about 14% both doses not counting pharmacy and LTC doses
Would love FP+ backAnd fastpasses
And fastpasses
One of the reasons FP was shut down is that the fast pass queue and the standby were too close together. Not sure if a 3 foot distancing change helps with that in cases where the lines are literally next to each other separated by a chain, railing or short wall. Could be that they add some plexiglass and/or alternate lanes for those attractions. It’s possible it comes back this Summer.Would love FP+ back
