Yep. Pick a place within striking distance of your physical home base, but much better quality of life and decoupled from the hassles of commuting. If you can work from anywhere, why not a place where you can easily be outside, socially distance, and enjoy life? The Central FL market is going to be distressed in the next few months as people sadly won’t be able to afford their mortgages and the like, but it’s not happening yet. Probably later this year/early next. There’s no “bargains” nowI think that’s exactly the case. NJ is basically a large suburb of NY and philly so lots of people with corporate jobs working from home that aren’t as impacted financially driving demand. Not that I’m trying to take advantage of a worldwide pandemic and other people’s suffering, but normally during/after a major recession is a good time to look into buying, but this time around I think that will be limited to certain markets.
