At a Paulding Board of Education meeting in July (there is video of the meeting), one of the Board Members suggested that since Georgia guidelines say that people who have been in "close contact" for 15 minutes need to be identified for contract tracing, that students be re-seated every 14 minutes. They've got that covered. Someone is organizing parents and student who want to avoid mandatory masks need to make sure they attend the next Board meeting.
But... we aren’t afloat. We’re drowning. You’re missing my point. And I’m not criticizing them...it almost sounds like you’re threatening me.
And maybe 10 days at least with testing on return?
I’ll compromise and say 5 days plus a negative test to return.
The school district is not allowed to require masks.

Where does the $$ go to ? Since some ( residents / small business ) can't pay rent or mortgage on time including property taxes which support social services perhaps the mask violations can maybe help support social services for the county?Here in MA...$300 fine per violation. I think a few of those might convince them to wear a mask.
Thinking out of the box, since you are at home with your kids, are you a talented cook? Have stuff in your home that could be sold in a garage sale? Some created $$ opportunities by cooking or baking their favorite foods to sell to the neighborhood since a number of families are staying at home instead of in the office. A family near me had a garage sale during the work week and many wearing masks stopped by to check it out. This would have not happened in non covid times. Sell your baked goods while you are at it. Get some helping hands and have a car wash to help earn $$ to help you so you don't drown.

Maybe they should spend it on more testing. Not wearing a mask will potentially lead to more spread so put the funds back into testing and tracing.
It's a state-wide mandate, not sure where the $ goes.
I would think any fines collected would go into the general fund for the benefit of all same as speeding or other fines. That prevents selective enforcement such as drug and property seizures where the proceeds go to fund the law enforcement that made the case.
