Don't see it happening. Can see it happening in front of Crossroads McDonalds near Disney Springs.

Neither do I. I could see it happening right on the property line, but not within property.

I still own some old Walt Disney World planning videos that advertised the then new "Fast Pass" system (2000 and 2001). It was released during the 100 Years of Magic Celebration.

Out of all the Disney Planning videos, this was the one I watched the most as a kid.

Here's the 2000 video

Just watching the Planning Video from 2001 is already making me miss this Disney. Those videos actually felt welcoming and genuine compared to anything form the "Disney Parks' blog.

You know what annoyed me on some of those old videos? The “fake” character voices they dubbed in on some segments

The Furloughed Disney employees I imagine feel differently. It is amazing how people that still have income coming into their bank accounts are making such decisions. Just food for thought....

If the political polls I did among Disney CM's in 2016 and before the primaries earlier this year are any indication, CM's are not unified in anything, and have no issues voting against their own self interests.

True ...it takes all kinds of people and your observation is probably true in most private companies. Public institutions are a different employee make up entirely and will vote as they see benefits their paychecks which is human nature and makes sense.

Pretty much. But they aren't acting like it.

There's still 3 hour hold times for the monthly annual passholder phone line.

I wonder if I file a chargeback on next month's charge if they'll call me instead.
No, they aren't. No resort offers beyond Sept 30th that I've seen. $200/night for POP in Oct? Crazy, given the circumstances.

People making the decisions are on the payroll. I've never heard of people making decisions working for free.
Closing the parks would be bad for all Cast..... the health dept is what is driving half of Disney's issues right now and they , the health authorities, will not be missing any income based upon their decisions that could hurt businesses. They will get paid no matter what happens. "If it saves just one life" is the primary objective not saving jobs or business. Just making an observation.....

Because they never have been...or will be. Based on demographics and backgrounds.

And they really aren’t “unionized” either...by design. People repeatedly make the mistake of making a false comparison on this point.

They're union members forbidden from striking in a right to work state.

It's like getting into a car accident, but your airbag is just a pillow taped to the steering wheel. It might help, but it probably won't.

You've never been to Aulani, eh?

I haven’t. And to be fair... Eisner brought us All Star Resorts!

That has more to do with how Rohde and Co spent their budget. They went big on what they did, even if it meant sacrificing Beastly Kingdom, Dinoland E Ticket 1.0 and later Tiger River Run.

That’s what I always thought.... but now knowing DAK development started in the pre-Paris era makes a lot of sense.

I wasn’t gonna say it...

Because I’ve been saying exactly that on forums for 20 years.

...I’m working on some “new material” 🤪

I was gonna say something about a "male sheath shaped prophylactic device" and a safety pin, but I wanted to keep it G rated.

Can always leave and work somewhere else I guess
