Lin is an O away from an EGOT, and also has won a Pulitzer. He’s written two Tony Award winning musicals, you can critize his acting ability but the man knows how to write songs, he’s a lyrical genius I’m not sure how you can call him a phoney.

He got a nomination for the music in Moana. We'll see if he gets the 'O' when In the Heights comes out.

Most people when they hear the name Lin Manuel Miranda they think of Hamilton. He also did songs for Moana as well. In addition to those achievements he is also the creator of another musical In The Heights. Writing the music and lyrics.
I thought he was charming and very good in Mary Poppins Returns. But the music to Moana was mediocre at best. Not encouraged by this rumor if it turns out to be true.

I have to be honest that the Moana music is the least of what I like. His performance as Bert was rather good in Mary Poppins Returns. His performance and the work he did on Hamilton is beyond belief. Also his work on In The Heights is outstanding as well. He definitely knows what he is doing when he is writing music and lyrics that is for damn sure.

Don't you mean as "Jack" in MPR?

The show has had its script, format and voices change multiple times since 1993. It's one of the few things Disney HAS consistently updated and maintained over time.

But the one constant has been the respectful tone towards its subject. If Al and Lin want to do a show together, that's fine, but don't rob MK of this kind of experience just so they can say it's "new and improved".

So how do you feel about him being in the Ducktales reboot then?
The DuckTales reboot is an offense against both man and God. It is a heaping, festering, blazing dumpster fire of garbage that sullies the name of everything and everyone with which it is associated. Anyone who has even the faintest connection to the production of that putrid vomitous rot gut should be forever banished to a far-away deserted island where they can spend the rest of their lives eating a steady diet of bugs and worms, each day filled with nothing but their own unbridled shame.

I hope I wasn't unclear.
