368,000 likes already? Wow. And 16k comments. Scrolling through them a decent amount seem to even be positive.
No single film deserves its own land.PATF deserves an entire land (E-ticket, Tianas Restaurant, M&G area, flatride etc). Not a retheming of an existing ride. This is just Di$ney saving $$$ while saving face.
“I’m not offended by its racism, so it isn’t racist.”I have a crystal clear copy. It's not offensive at all. But people will be offended by anything.

Glad I'm not the only person dreading this. I'm already picturing Louis to be the best looking AA.I'm already having panic attacks thinking about the little mermaid under the sea scene quality being shoved into splash mountain.
~sincerely, a hardcore splash mountain fan.
I really, really wish we still lived in the era where the company thought like this.No single film deserves its own land.

Funny how it wasn’t a problem until two weeks ago. I don’t recall anybody in the past 20 years say it was a problem. Even in this 2009 thread discussing this same exact thing...If you don't get why they're changing Splash Mountain then the whole problem went over your head.
It's naturally too early to tell and the brief exposition on the general plot doesn't give it away, but my main concern will be:
The climax.
The drop is fun and all, but what adds to it is the tension that the ride gives you before it. The slow climb up, the eerie music, the rabbit about to get eaten, and the clearly evil birds over your head laughing at you.
I hope that with Tiana (as I would with any IP) they make sure to add some "suspense" just before the drop so you can feel the same sort of fear/adrenaline you feel in current Splash.
I've seen it. I'm offended.
But nice try not listening to people but just impugning that they're only cause against Song of the South is that they're blindly jumping on a bandwagon.

Wow, what offended you? The portrayal of the mother being a horrible person, or Uncle Remus being a nice guy that was willing to help the kids?
Just for folks as yourself....Ok I’m wrong. What a nightmare you must be.
Hope Tony's doing alright![]()
They better not touch The Country Bears! I remember sketching of the bears actually made Walt laugh during the last months of his life.
