I thought there was but I could be wrong. It is interesting how those two you posted don’t pop up right away when you search reflections though. I know they had mentioned it at the DVC annual meeting.

I'm beginning to think that maybe some of these cuts will be beneficial in the long run. Did we need Reflections? Nope. Does WDW deserve a better hotel project than the one announced? Absolutely. The investment seemed misguided. Maybe some good things can come out of all this for Epcot too.

And along with the Team Disney building, the last real attempt at any sort of serious architecture on property.

I would argue Peter Dominick’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and Kidani Village, one of the last projects he oversaw before his early tragic death, were the last great resort projects.

If I could make a suggestion, however unlikely, they really should dust off the plans for Fort Wilderness Junction and do that. The success of Cabana Bay shows that there’s room for innovation in the kind of moderate resort product Disney created in the Central Florida market with CBR/PO/DL/CSR. High quality theming with a roomstock mix of well designed family suites and regular rooms would do very well; possibly at the current rack rates too.

I think given the circumstances Covid cuts would be a far more appropriate title. There are no current projects that could be cut that weren’t approved by Chapek before Covid.
