I've heard many rumors about that building, some of them pretty wild. Sounds like they chose something...mundane? I just hope it's not the NBA Experience which doesn't seem to be doing too well in Florida.

Yard House would be good at the former ESPNZone. Disneyland lacks a good NFL Sunday / Sports Bar for fans. Closest ones are in Brea, Irvine, and Costa Mesa

That would be true if Disneyland was trying to attract locals as much as WDW's Disney Springs does. But DL has turned its back on non-AP local business. I have only stopped in to pick up a sandwich at Earl of Sandwich once since they re-opened. The free window of parking and the distance I would have to walk are ridiculous. Disney has told me they don't want my business. Same for the counter business at Brennan's or Tortilla Joe's or Trader Sam's. I sincerely question Disney's business model if they make it so difficult for non-disney-hotel guests to patronize Downtown Disney eateries unless they open another hotel. They need an updated master plan for the resort and they appear to be continuing to shoot from the hip, and we all know how well that's working out. (Mixed, at best.)
