I hope they have enough slot machines.
Exactly! This faux ritz style has zero connection to the elements that are/were at the essence of the parks and what made them unique. This stuff is Vegas style. How long will this decor(which is all it is) be in fashion? Probably 5 years until it gets changed out. There isn't any substance to it. I can find many hotels in any city in the world that look and feel like this. Boring!!!!

And yes, I've stayed at Coronado in the past and recently.

Disneyworld and Vegas have a lot in common, in particular they have hotels that don't look and feel like any other city in the world. A hotel with a monorail station, only in Disneyworld and Vegas (well and Tokyo Disney).

This hotel has a very adult oriented feel. It's geared towards adults, so the decor is more sophisticated but still gives (many) nods to Disney. It's just not in your face.
Also it's completely on point with the artistry of Barcelona feel they were going for. Vegas? And the price is great.

I think this will become one of their most popular hotels. :)

I'm really truly sorry... but I can't resist!

Not in the state of Florida (exception of native Americans) they won't. Especially when Disney themselves lobbies against them.

Good point. The difference is that Vegas has no soul. And it shows in the theming.
