I experience that sometimes as well, and I've never been in a coma. :) Especially noticeable if I'm doing spinners which never used to bother me at all, but now after 2-3 rounds I need a break from them. Something about getting older I guess...

I keep telling myself one of there years I'll get to CoasterCon. Maybe next year with Hershey...

I guess I'm not following your point. You just answered your own question. The ride is really popular and hence why they cloned it. It sort of proves people like it lol.

Look, no one is saying no one liked the old one. It was very popular in its day too and if it was still there I would still be riding it personally. It simply got old. Maybe in another 15 years this one will get 10 minute waits too, I don't make those kinds of predictions about new lands and rides because they are all futile anyway. Either Disney will replace it like they finally did with the original Star Tours or keep it going until they come up with something better and budget worthy.

Just go with an occasional discussion you haven’t pre-decided the outcome of...which believe it or not I do all the time. The avatar ones for instance

I just don't get this thinking? They REALLY needed a justification? That's what others are saying, it was clear this was going to be a BIG BIG hit on day one. Outside of the Millenium Falcon itself, the Cantina is the other iconic attraction in the park most SW fans identify with and want to take part of. And its the only one with alcohol making others who don't care being Star Wars now a reason to care lol.

Why is this and the restaurant not a big priority in the budget on day one? Its going to draw just as much interest as the ride themselves. In fact ALL of Disneyland sit down restaurants are big hits these days from Blue Bayou to Lamplight Lounge. I can't think of one that isn't doing well. You give people a Blue Bayou only Star Wars themed, they will be flocking there for decades.

I didn’t answer anything. My point was that just because it’s marginally more popular doesn’t make it better. I never said It wasn’t popular.

On another note, lets not forget that the parks weren’t this crowded when Star Tours 1.0 closed. I’m going to go ahead and guess that it would be getting 45 minute waits too.

LOL we're just going in circles now. I get your point. The only reason it was brought up because people acted like 2.0 is some marred and unpopular attraction people hate; which seems based more on their personal feelings over the attraction than the reality.

I loved the original but its gone now. It was fine for its time, but that's life. And 2.0 can continually promote the new movies which is why its so popular now. My guess is when Episode 9 come out they will have a new film for the ride and will only increase more interest in both the ride and the new land. You can't do that with 30 year old ride scenes.
