Sassagoula Floatworks Breakfast Suggestions

We will be staying at POFQ for the first time this fall. What would you recommend from the breakfast menu at Sassagoula Floatworks? I always pick a favorite menu item at the resorts we have stayed at before-breakfast burger & hashbrowns at AoA, toasted ham and cheese at Pop, and the breakfast platter at POR. Looking at the menu online, the breakfast po' boy caught my eye.

the baguette french toast was good. it’s battered & deep fried, then dipped in cinnamon sugar.

I usually order the biscuits & gravy with a side of sausage. ( gets charged as a snack item ) Or the Big Easy breakfast.

The shrimp and grits there are very good. Whatever you decide, go on an empty stomach. Lots of great menu items.

We popped over to POFQ one night when we were staying at POR a couple of years ago to try the beignets. They were good, but I’m not too good with sweet stuff in the morning-I usually prefer savoury, or at least savoury mixed with sweet.
