Fantasyland Expansion: Beauty and the Beast or Frozen or Something Else?

Which Fantasyland expansion would you pick- Beauty and the Beast or Frozen?

If there was a Fantasyland expansion, I'd like to see Mary Poppins be used. The London from the film would work well as a miniland. I'd love to see a Mary Poppins ride, that is similar to Tony Baxter's proposal.

I would like to see Tangled (Rapunzel) get more than just The World's Fanciest Toilet. I'm willing to argue that Tangled is better than Frozen and never got the recognition it deserves.

I've beat this horse before, here I go again.....

It should be a dark ride. The track should be lantern-ish shaped omnimovers. I've Got a Dream would make an awesome main scene with all of the thugs dancing around and singing.

I would love to see a Fantasyland Expansion that will actually please EVERYONE that goes to DLR. That means no Frozen. Frozen is way overrated. Even though the 2nd one looks quite interesting, it doesn’t need to be forced down our throats. As for what to add to FL, i’m not sure. I like the idea of Tangled because it has a good balance of story and music which can lead to a great ride.

I voted for Frozen. I think the movie is entertaining and the soundtrack is great, though the third act is a mess. However, it is the modern flagship for Disney animation, with many sequels and shorts to come. The public has nearly unanimously embraced it. Therefore, I believe a ride that is equal in quality to the adulation it receives is warranted.

I would vote for Beauty and the Beast, but if I'm being honest I don't think it's what Disneyland needs. If I'm truly advocating what Disneyland is all about, then I want a ride that can be enjoyed by all, but will be looked upon by today's children with the same warm feelings I have for Beauty and the Beast, when they are my age.

I'm not too big on either BATB or Frozen. If I were to pick a princess dark ride, I think the most deserving is Mulan! You could even make it multiple variations: Vanilla, trackless, shooter. Possibilities are endless!

I’m less interested in the IP and more interested in the ride system and overall experience. There is enough content in either IP to make for a good dark ride (probably more in Frozen). I’m worried with either BATB or Frozen they’d go the greatest musical hits route like they did with Mermaid. If it were between Frozen Ever After at Epcot or what looks like BATB is going to be in Tokyo I’d go with the latter. With that said, it’s kind of an unfair comparison to compare a reskin to purpose built attraction.

I’d probably take Baxter’s Poppins idea over both of them.

Villain Mountain, E-Ticket Peter Pan, Zootopia Police Chase, Improved 7 Dwarfs Mine Ride (starting where FL Theater is) weaving in and out of Storybook Land with Casey Jr. and the canal boats.

And a good B&tB ride that contains some mild scares and focuses on the adventure.

Tangled can be a restroom again.

What I don’t want is another lame Mermaid-style attraction that merely recreates musical numbers instead of providing a genuine adventure. We need more FL rides with signs warning, “Beware: _ _ _ might frighten small children.” YEAH! :D
