Here’s something I don’t think was asked before. What are we expecting when it comes to the CMs on RotR? Typical cheery teenagers or will they act the part of being in the First Order? The latter could be very fun :)

I would assume similar to TOT and HM. They will be serious and in character, but also help you if you need something (like the chicken out door)

I’d hope it’s above that. Like, you know when you get REALLY good ones on ToT and HM but most of the time it’s others that you can tell aren’t that into it? More of the former please. Also, the chickens should be escorted by Stormtroopers imo :)

We will post a new record for waiting in line......although, Flight of Passage will be a tough one to beat. My favorite is:

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
Longest Posted Wait Time: 230 mins
Longest Verified Wait Time: 160 minutes, January 2, 2015

i sware i waited longer during preview for FOP because it broke down and entire line was sitting on the floor of the que...but thay probably cant count eh?

Cast members probably a mix of stormtroopers, officers, and those guys with the Vader esque helmets. I doubt they'll go this far, but it would be awesome and very Star Wars if the stormtroopers ordered us to put our hands on our heads PoW style as they escort us to the ride vehicles. That's the kind of seriousness I'd expect (at least in the first year of operation)

This might be my only concern with galaxys edge. They are talking about all this "immersion" and detail. I fear we see this for the first year or so then it's cutback time and we see Disney slowly reduce these elements until it's just like any other area. I sure hope that doesn't happen.

I think it’s confirmed the land takes place post Last Jedi so the Supreme Leader is dead.

Actually I think it’s been confirmed that it takes place before the Force Awakens. Hence the rise of the resistance with Poe Dameron’s old XWing nearby. Either way, Kylo Ren is the supreme leader or Snoke is.

Yes, the supreme leader is dead - Long live the supreme leader.

Someone has shared an article from WDW Intel on the Facebook group I admin. No idea who they are and how reliable. The article uses blackout dates to predict it will open December 20th. Naturally some members were getting carried away and taking it as gospel so I stepped in and said don't believe anything until we get official word from Disney.

When Disney themselves change the announced timeline from "Late Fall" to "Fall", it's sure as heck means before December.

DHS is going to be so over crowded when star wars land opens. It’s already the hottest most claustrophobic park of all 4.
No shade and small walkways. How do people survive that park in July?

I find DAK much worse in the summer, although TSL in particular is VERY uncomfortable at mid-day. A lot at DHS is indoor, however. DAK offers very little relief from the heat. I remember sweat pouring from unmentionable areas while waiting in line for a sunset safari in August. Epcot is certainly the easiest (for both the heat and the downpours).
