RunDisney Race wine and dine?

So I've been looking at dates for 2019, and settled on oct 28-nov 5 so I can get a little bit of Halloween, and a little bit of Christmas. But in looking harder, I have found out that the DisneyRun Wine and dine marathon would be going on the weekend during our stay. Does anyone have any opinion of how the run weekends effect the parks? Should I change dates?

I did the 10K in 2016. The weekend of the actual race was pretty crowded especially that Sunday. We were in Epcot that day & I truthfully couldn't wait to leave. Otherwise, I didn't think it was that bad.

Well I had planned to avoid Epcot on the weekends because of food and wine anyway. Now someone on my Facebook mentioned Jersey week 2nd half of my trip... any experience with that?

No problem... I might just stick with the original plan anyway. Last may we went during a cheerleader weekend .. which everyone says is horrible, but it didn't bother us any.

The dates for Wine and Dine 2019 have not yet been announced, and while races tend to remain more less the same dates every year, there is always a possibility that the events are pushed up or back by a week.

We did wine and dine in 2015 and stayed for a week, I didn't find it overly crowded at all to be honest, nothing like it would be at spring break or in the summer. I'd go for it
