Whats your favorite cocktail in WDW?

So many.

Off the top of my head, there was a banana shake at the Korean F&W booth a few years ago, never to return.

There was a Chakalaka wine I loved that is no longer at Tiffins. (I keep picking ones that are gone - oops!)

There’s a basic one on several menus I enjoy that I first had at Yachtsman Steakhouse that was a bourbon drink with dark cherries that I just looked and is no longer on the menu :hilarious: so I’m batting a thousand here...

And this:

Smoked Turkey
Wild Turkey 101 Bourbon, Red Stag Black Cherry Bourbon, Grenadine, and Odwalla Lemonade, With a Hint of Hickory Smoke, Garnished with Luxardo Gourmet Maraschino Cherries

Weird, but I liked it.

Ok so I come from the land of the Old Fashion. Here is link that explains the importance of this cocktail to Wisconsin.http://www.businessinsider.com/old-fashioned-is-the-wisconsin-state-cocktail-2017-5

However, I hate to admit it but the best one EVER was a Flying Fish!
I love Old Fashions and have also had a good one here and there in WDW namely Belle Vue Room (BWR), Mizner's (GFR) and Raglan Road (DS)

I enjoy them very much also.

And this was very good at Nomad Lounge:

Tempting Tigress
Russell's Reserve 10yr Bourbon, St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram, Tamarind Syrup, and Lime Juice

We were there in December, and I really wanted this, but it wasn't in the cards. In fact, it was on the menu at Whispering Canyon, and the bartender had no clue what it was, or how to make it, insisting that it didn't exist. I ended up just asking for Wild Turkey neat, and she told me she'd never heard of that drink either and didn't know how to make it. I explained to her that it was literally just the brand of bourbon (which is, again, right there on the menu) and she asked, "So you just want a shot of whiskey?" All I could say was, "Sure." It was a pretty interesting lunch.

If you like sweet drinks, you HAVE to get a Pinacolava. Granted, I had this on a Disney Cruise while sitting on Castaway Cay, but the ones you can get at the pool bars at Disney Resorts should be the same.

She should be fired on the spot....

Wow - a newbie bartender!

I remember when I was a barback interested in becoming a bartender, the first time I filled in for a bartender when he went on break, a patron ordered an Absolut & Seven. I poured Absolut and Seagram's 7 whiskey. Ha!

I went on to become a very good bartender with a fresh made bloody mary that pulled 'em in on Sundays. (One of the secrets is pink horseradish - do it!)

Back to topic: I should mention when you do wine pairings at a WDW restaurant that's worth doing them and knows how to pair (especially if they are good enough to go off script/menu with the pairings) that is a fantastic drinking and dining experience. It has happened only a few times at a very high level. Most were with Craig at the Flying Fish. Sadly, that is no longer a thing. I'm not crazy about the new chef at FF, and Craig has moved to V&A! (I keep picking things that are no longer there LOL!!)
