Ridiculous or just plain weird in-queue stories, I wanna hear 'em.

Yes, this may be an old subject, but I wanted to bring it back to light because I remember seeing some of the craziest things in long queues as Disney.

*Please note: This is NOT a thread to complain about people putting kids on shoulders, getting run-over, etc. etc.

This thread is in kind jest about what you have seen that made you question humanity, or it was just plain weird.

That being said, I have one story that I can remember at the moment:

While in the queue for SDMT, this lady in front of me decided to give herself a full-on manicure while waiting in line. Let's just say the entire place smelled like nail polish, but it was just something you don't think of doing while waiting in a line.

That's it guys! Have at it!

Edit: It doesn't just have to be in queues. If you saw something in the parks, in the hotels...you get the idea.

I'm always intrigued by the swimsuit attire at the resort pools. Let's just say, I can pretty clearly identify who is like me from the Midwest, and who is not, and particularly, who is from Europe.

Them: Yes.
Me: Okay I need 140 turkey meals and all of the gravy delivered to St. Waldo's School next Wednesday.

I can say the hubs has done work while in lines as well. They need to make lap-desks that are wearable via belts.

In the queue for Splash Mountain - right in the tunnel leading down to the "dock", a couple were having a very heated argument. You know how the logs get backed up and it can make that part of the queue rather... slow? This made it slower. Well, the dam burst, so to speak, when the guy took their two kids and rushed back up the line, leaving his wife in tears. She stayed in line and got on her cell and left messages for her husband. My friends and I were like... is she going to be riding with us? Awkward. Thankfully, when we got to the loading area, she stepped across and headed out.

We were in line for EE at AK, and the all of the sudden EMT was rushing in the line telling everyone to get to one side so they could get through. We thought someone had passed out from heat exhaustion, and then we were hearing rumors that someone had an episode brought on by diabetes. After the line was in a standstill for about 20 minutes or so, another EMT group came through with a gurney and someone said that a kid got bit by a bee or wasp and had an allergic reaction. 0.o Yikes!

Not a queue story, but an exit story.
At Indiana Jones at disneyland, when we exited there was an old guy on the floor, however there were thankfully people there to help him. I hope that he is ok to this day.

We were exiting Space Mtn and there were tons of official CMs standing there before we entered the gift shop area. They were smiling and hoping we had a "magical" time. Behind them were a ton of EMTs and a Guest on a gurney. She was definitely a "heffalump". (I can't say "pooh-sized" since my daughter is engaged to Pooh and takes offense to that phrase.). The poor EMT in charge was rolling his eyes and saying that he could get the woman on the gurney more water, but there was not much more he could do for her since it was the beginning of August - in Orlando - for someone her size. She was going to be hot like the rest of us.
It was an interesting experience for those of us exiting the ride at that time.

I forget which line it was, I'm thinking a Fantasyland dark ride, but the guy in front of me was sharing a box of Willy Wonka Nerds candy with his family, and he turned around and gave me some. Then he gave me some more. I enjoy Nerds but don't have them often, so I was glad to accept. It was nice of him, but kind of strange at the same time.

Over the years, I have heard and seen so many things while in line.
Some of my favorite things overheard are.
The Spires of the castle can be lowered in case of hurricanes.
The new monorail will connect all the parks.
Walt Disney is one of the ghosts in the Haunted mansion.
There is a super double secret club in Pirates similar to Club 33 in DL.
The Skyway was closed after someone fell off and died.
And of course
Walt Disney is cryogenically frozen.
Things I have seen,
Boys peeing – when you got to go you got to go
Parents slapping kids
Children asleep in strollers or in a parent’s arms
Woman in spike heels - ouch
Men in spike heels – not that there is anything wrong with that but again, ouch

Not in a queue, but in Town Square near the Emporium. A big guy, around 6'4", in a woman's dress, high heels, long curly wig and full makeup. I've got nothing against transvestites or transgenders, but he certainly stood out in the crowd. I was a little jealous, cause his makeup was so much better than mine.
