I know that this is a ways out, but I like to have my ducks all in a row. This is actually the first time in 12 years that I’ll actually be in any of the parks in WDW, so I’m looking forward to getting back there.
Our high school band is gong down to Disney in December, for the Citrus Bowl parade. We have also been invited to march in the Magic Kingdom before one of the parades on New Years Eve. I drive the truck with the equipment, a 26 foot box truck. My question is: where do I park this thing before and after I go backstage for the parade?
We did this at Disneyland a couple years ago, but our hotel was within walking distance, so I just brought the truck back to the hotel, and went back to the park. I don’t know where we are staying yet, but I know it’s not on site, so I can’t go drop it off back at the hotel, and head back over.
The guys that did it last time we were in Orlando, just left after the parade, because they were heading out later that night, and wanted to get some rest. We still will have a few more days in Orlando at that point, plus I want to be back in the park for New Years.
I know that there has to be a plan that Disney has, we aren’t the first to be doing this. I’m sure the tour company will have it worked out. I was just curious if anyone knew what it was.
Thanks for any help.
Dave
