Tokyo HM Stretching Room

Simple question: Is the stretching room in the Tokyo HM an elevator like the Disneyland version? It didn't feel like an elevator when I was there (unlike Disneyland where I can actually feel myself descending) however I noticed the wooden walls did elongate.

WDW and Tokyo Disneyland Haunted Mansion stretch room does not change elevation. Disneyland and Disneyland Paris both have the lowering floor version
