They can be mean but I just adore animals,
Actually have a picture someone took of me when I was in Bolivia. After doing the death road on bicycle we stopped to shower and change and then I decided to explore the jungle a bit while friends finished up. I saw a monkey on a tree and he was the only one quiet and serious all the other ones were jumping around eating.
I walked up to him and started talking to him asking him if he was ok. Next thing I know he leans forward climbs in my shoulder, wraps his arms around me. we had some kind of conversation together and he stayed with me while I walked for a while. Of course it’s a different breed of monkey then the one in India. The ones in india are a bit more aggressive but didn’t have an issue with them when we interacted with them in the temples

Here I am in the middle of nowhere in a jungle area with a wild monkey that decided he wanted to be my friend

OK, bear with me here. I periodically check a permit from last year taken out by McDonalds Corporation saying something was being built in DTD. It used to read:

Permit Number: BLD2017-05054 Map Info: 1554 S DISNEYLAND DR
Description: DTD - Esplanade/West Plaza - Site Improvements underground utilities electrical 600 amp/120v subpanel, 150 kva transformer and a pour-in-place pad and water line for future building.

That description has been revised and now reads:

Permit Number: BLD2017-05054 Map Info: 1554 S DISNEYLAND DR Name: MC DONALD'S CORP : 1554 S DISNEYLAND
Description: DTD - Esplanade/West Plaza - Site Improvements underground utilities electrical 600 amp/120v subpanel, 150 kva transformer for future pergulas. REF:BLD2018-01497

The revision references a permit filing from today:

BLD2018-01497 Name: WALT DISNEY WORLD CO DTD - Esplanade/West Plaza - Temporary Structure: 720 s.ft Installation tree new temporary merchandise pergulas. (6 month installation from issuance date).

I don't know what's going here, but Temporary Structure is sounding less and less like a McDonalds.

They probably did mean existing queue. I'm all for getting more shade and air conditioning for long queue lines. If it is Starcade, let's hope it's a legitimate refurb of the area.

Starcade floor (previously escalator/speed ramp) to be infilled. Modifications to existing operations office to include new ceiling, drywall, electrical, mechanical, and exterior facade.
